Computer Science
The path to the career you chose most likely starts in the Computer Science program here at Chemeketa.
You generally will need a four-year degree (Bachelor's degree) to work as a software developer. A more research oriented job may require education beyond that.
Chemeketa's CS program offers a two-year Associate of Science Transfer degree that provides the first two years of a four-year education - after finishing it you can transfer to Oregon State University, Western Oregon University, Portland State University, University of Oregon, and other schools ready to complete the last two years of your degree.
The CS pathway begins with CS160 - it is essential to sign up for it as soon as possible after starting at Chemeketa.
