Set Up Your Computer

Continue using Codespaces until your course asks you to work locally. Then install the tools for your operating system:

• Windows setup
• macOS setup
• Linux setup

You then will need to configure Git with your name and Chemeketa email address. See Git and Worklog for instructions.

• Git setup

Install all four components before opening an assignment on your computer:

1. A C++ compiler and Make
2. Visual Studio Code
3. The required VS Code extensions
4. Git, including your name and email configuration
